Scotland The Quest to Aviemore FEB 2nd -9th 2019

Opinions please

Am only staying for 3 nights so am thinking I should only need 1 pair of thermals (base layer) trousers and top and jacket. I will be taking a change of clothes for the trip home. And a change of socks and underwear while I am there.

What’s your thoughts people. Is this acceptable or just manky lol ?

I would pack double, go manky if you want but you'll need spare in case of cloths imho

Not a case of being manky, its in case you get a soaking and need a change.

Santa came early :xmas-biggrin:

I have a pair of Bear Paw snowshoes I will be taking along as a just in case.
It can be hard work and knackering yomping through snow if you have to walk any distance.
Easy to make pair here for anyone who fancies making their own in the shed on a wet day.
Can be made for not much money. 👍

Or in the field using natural materials.

The end of this video brings home how useful they could be......IF.....we get some snow 👍
