A water bottle, if car camping on a site I just buy a 5l and top up as needed, if hiking then a water filter and smaller bottle

And a couple of cheap lighters, don't rely at this point on a ferro rod, take a box of matches too, gives you deeper access into the burner.

Yeah will be taking food and have a water bottle lying around. Already have a lighter (on the list) but will get some matches too or Callie just use the lighter and a twig

get swan vesta matches, melt a candle and dip the match heads in the wax to give you waterproof matches

Gonna order a 5L one from eBay as the amazon one takes 3-4 weeks to get here. eBay one delivers before I go camping. Do you think the 5L is the best size?

Depends on how long you plan to be out and if there's a nearby water source

Make sure you fill it and put some sort of sterilizing agent in and leave it for 24 hours before re filling it

If you not hiking with all your gear then pick up some bottled water
Stockwell And Co Still Spring Water 2L - Tesco Groceries sort of thing. I've got water filters but 'car camping' I just picked up cheap bottled water. Two litres per day each will cover cooking and washing.

You can't go wrong with such a simple stove. Mine is still going fine after 40 plus years
